What the Resurrection Means to Me Easter Sunday, April 12, 1998 |
| Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. One
reason I am thankful for today is because the resurrection proved everything that Jesus
taught is undeniably true. In this world, there are many false prophets, false teachers, and false gods. Many of them can do acts of signs and wonders. Many of them can conquer what seems to be impossible. But none of them can conquer death. None of them can conquer Satan. Because none of them are true. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He proved that by an act that no false prophet or teacher would ever think of attempting. By raising from the dead, he showed to us the one truth in a broken and distressed world. |
